  47. Ahh... games.  I love ‚Äòem!  I know a lot of 
  48. you out there use a Mac for work; 
  49. spreadsheets, newsletters, telecom, etc.  I, 
  50. on the other hand, did not buy my Mac in 
  51. order to pursue those ‚Äòlegitimate‚Äô endeavors.  No, my Mac was purchased so I 
  52. could play games. Military games are my favorites.  Any type of war game is for me.  I don‚Äôt care if the armies are made up of the ‚ÄúHappy Little Elves‚Äù as long as they have guns and ammo capable of inflicting mass destruction.  I don‚Äôt know why, but the thought of wiping out thousands of my 
  53. enemy in an orgy of blood, terror and 
  54. death just makes me feel warm and fuzzy 
  55. all over.

  58. recently is Sands of Fire‚Ñ¢ by Three-Sixty 
  59. Pacific, Inc.  It‚Äôs a game of small unit 
  60. armored warfare in the North African 
  61.

  66. a unit of one to five tanks against 
  67. Rommel‚Äôs best in various scenarios.
  68. Sands of Fire‚Ñ¢ comes on one 800K disk It is 
  69. not copy protected so you can throw it on 
  70. your hard disk and put the original safely 
  71. away.  Included with the disk is a 35 page 
  72. manual and a quick reference card.  Sands 
  73. of Fire‚Ñ¢ is MultiFinder compatible.
  74. Sands of Fire‚Ñ¢ is a relatively easy game to 
  75. play which is good because the manual is 
  76. somewhat lacking in detail.  There is little 
  77. explanation of the various menu 
  78. commands available.  Most don‚Äôt need 
  79. much more detail for the average Mac 
  80. user than the manual provides, but I 
  81. really would have liked to see a more in-
  82. depth discussion 
  83. of some.
